Wisdom Teeth Removal

Wisdom teeth, or third molars, are the last teeth to erupt in the mouth. Wisdom teeth often emerge in the mouth between 18-25, which can cause significant pain and discomfort if left unexamined and untreated.

As part of our comprehensive examination, our dentists at Maude Street Dental will often advise you to have an OPG (i.e. full mouth x-ray) to determine the health and position of your wisdom teeth. If it is deemed that the wisdom teeth require extraction, we can organise an appointment to have these wisdom teeth safely and efficiently removed by our dentists.

In some cases, our experienced dentists may decide it is best to have your wisdom teeth removed under general anaesthetic. In these cases, our team will organise for you to be seen by our trusted Dental Surgeon, Dr David Goubrial.
